Ted Grant made himself known to be a former World heavyweight champion in boxing. He is in Gotham but also years back ago he was a vigilante by the name of Wildcat. He now owns a gym at Starling City under the same name. He trained the heroes like Laurel Dinah Lance aka The Black Canary. He stopped her training when he injured himself in a war between the people of the Glades/Star city against the people of Danny Brickwell. Brickwell beat him to a bloody pulp. After that things weren't the same. Though months later as the time passes we now come to the NOW. Reports are running around that Theodore Grant is now looking to make a one night comeback in his former career of Boxing. He is doing this for son's 7th birthday. It's maybe one of the reason why he is at the Wayne manor. It was rumor that Martha and Thomas Manor is turned into a residential shelter to the orphans for young boys. His intent was to invite them all to his son's birthday. It was a noble gesture and the moment he stepped up front the door of the big Wayne's manor. He hesitated a bit. He wasn't even dressed up appropriately. He just came down there in a leather grey jacket and tore up Jeans from his knees. So much for formality. He rang the doorbell and few minutes of wait. An old man who looked like he is from the Europe; most closely from the United Kingdom. The man had this British accent. He was humbling and noble.
" Yes may I help you sir ? ", He spoke as Ted cleared his voice, as Ted extended his hands that were filled with invitation to his son's birthday.
"Actually My name is Ted Grant. You might heard about me. I am just here for the young children. I have an invitation to everyone them to come at my son's birthday. This is after all a Children home. Am I right or I have my fact mislead. If so I am really sorry ". Ted spoke in his gentle tone. The old man was the butler. He was butler to the Batman;Bruce Wayne. The caretaker of the place. He smiled back at Ted with that same humble gesture and raise his voice.
" Mister Grant, I am Alfred Pennyworth. The butler. If you want please come inside. I can assure you're effort to come down here and invite little children is very noble of you "
"No I do want to trouble you with my presence. But I just want to see those children to come and enjoy a good time with my son Thomas. This way these children inside would enjoy and have a good time. By the way I wish I could've met Bruce Wayne. I am really sorry about his passing. If I knew he was The Batman. He and I could've work together. We could have fought crime together. Anyway Alfred it is nice meeting you. You should come to my son's birthday too. A great company of making new friends awaits you my good man. Take good care ", They exchanged pleasantries as they've said their goodbyes. Ted was turning his face away and before he does a very particular voice from the distincts could be heard. It was a hard brooding voice. Ted turned around, the moment he turned back at the door. A different face was standing in front of him. A face he couldn't have expected it. No one could.
