Life was simple in the Marvel Universe... well as simple as life could be in such a place. The Avengers waged war against all who threatened the Earth. SHIELD kept a watchful eye over the planet to make sure it did not endure the wrath of evil organizations such as HYDRA. The X-Men fought for peace and equality in a world where many feared and hated those like them. And many from the vast expansion of outer space made themselves known, seeking to preserve order in the universe... or tear said order apart. So yes... for the Marvel Universe, things were quite normal...

And then Beyonder, a being with power beyond that which the normal mind can not even comprehend, made himself known. In order to spice things up a bit, he played games with reality, making new worlds, new dimensions, new beings. He has now taken the Marvel Universe to strange places and exposed it to the strangest of happenings. He has taken the Marvel Universe... Beyond...
