America wakes to hear the news that Vice-President Richard Thyme was assassinated at a Charity event in Budapest, Hungary hosted by billionaire and Gotham resident, Mr Maxwell Lord.
The secret service are not giving away many details but apparently at least 40 men attacked the event killing the Vice-President and many other innocent civilians. Gunshots and explosions were heard by witnesses who saw several figures flee the scene with a hostage in a car. The car was found three miles away from the event at the bottom of the River Danube along with the bodies of three of the terrorists. They were all deceased. There was no sign of the hostage.
Rumours are spreading that a woman attacked the terrorists, killed several of them with incredible strength and then flew across the City. The claims have of course been discredited and called ludicrous.
The President is yet to make a comment.
